From heroes and heroines to kings and prophets that speak truth to power, we’ll learn of the ups and downs of our people living on their own land, as they wrestle with fulfilling their part in the covenant to set up a society that is based on morality, freedom and seeing the image of G-d in the face of the other.

Through this, we’ll understand more than history. We will understand why Israel is the Land of Hope, and why we are the People of Hope. We will understand that the Tanach and the way it speaks shifts world paradigms, breaks assumptions and changes history and the way the world thinks.
