More than a decade ago, Rav Ramon Widmonte pioneered in South Africa, a new mode of engaging with Jewish heritage in Eastern Europe.

 

Poland, Lithuania, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam all became places where we could go to rediscover a rich, powerful birth right, as well as to confront the evils of the Holocaust.
